Research Interests
I am interested in observing which host behaviours promote pathogen spread through the colony, and how disinfection of the ant nest counteracts the risk of disease. I use methods ranging from behavioral observations to experimental manipulation of pathogen properties and advanced microscopy techniques for visualization.
